Intel Teach to the Future Program

- Over 650,000 teachers in 26 countries have completed trainings.

- By 2003, one million teachers in 28 or more countries will have participated.

The Intel Teach to the Future program was built on the successes of the 1998 and 1999 Intel Applying Computers in Education (ACE) Project.

During 1998 and 1999, the Intel ACE Project trained over 3,300 teachers in communities where Intel Corporation had major facilities and where Intel has been active in supporting public schools. These communities were Santa Clara and Folsom (CA), Hillsboro (OR), Dupont (WA), Rio Rancho (NM), Chandler (AZ), Hudson (MA), Washington D.C., and Fort Worth (TX).

The Intel ACE Project was very successful. Teachers created over 2,300 lessons, which integrated technology into their existing curriculum. In addition, over 95% of the participants at each of the training sites reported that they had learned new skills, which would directly benefit their students.
